Welcome

A word from the Head oikomolkoi

We are a school where every student is known. Teachers see how each pupil learns best, what they worry about, what makes them thrive. And for that to happen, classes must be small. Fewer than ten pupils, with a teacher who has time to know them properly.

That is why, in an age of bigger and bigger schools, we have stayed small. We have also chosen to keep all our ages on one campus, so the older students mentor the younger ones, and nobody has to start again at a new school, far from home.

We come from different countries. We go to different universities. We learn the International Curriculum, and we sit outside in the garden with our friends at break. We are Riverside.

From our families

What parents tell us

Our daughter joined in Year 4 with almost no English. Her teacher sent us a note every Friday for a term. By the summer she was reading to the class.
Parent, Year 6
We moved from Singapore and expected a year of settling in. It took a fortnight. Somebody had thought about who he would sit next to.
Parent, Year 9

Come and see the school working

We run private tours most weekday mornings during term time. You will see normal lessons, not a performance.
